Sauli Niinistö (left) and Pekka Haavisto arrive on Friday for a televised presidential debate aired by the MTV3 network. A poll put out by the late edition tabloid newspaper Iltalehti on Friday gave Niinistö the lead in the race, with 64 per cent against Haavisto’s 36 per cent. 23 per cent of respondents were either undecided or unwilling to name a candidate.
