In spite of the tax on sweets, there is no shortage of consumer action at the KC Suklaa chocolaterie on Helsinki’s Mikonkatu. Especially in summertime, lots of tourists visit the small outlet. According to chocolate vendor Krista Alho the tax has not reduced their clientele. ”I myself would recommend the Vanilla Creme confection, with dark chocolate and vanilla, or dark chocolate with a nugget of gold foil on it”, she says.
