One residential city block was destroyed almost completely on Wednesday when the Syrian armed forces bombarded the city of Azazi, north of Aleppo and close to the Turkish border. The locals gathered to observe the destruction on Thursday. In recent days, the al-Assad regime, which is fighting for its survival, has resorted to air strikes more and more frequently.
