Migrant women's euro is worth 20 cents

Female immigrants in Finland are in a very precarious economic situation.
It has been demonstrated that a woman's euro in the Finnish labour market is worth approximately 82 cents, or in other words the pay imbalance between men and women for the same job is 100/82, but in the case of immigrant women, the figures are a great deal more alarming.

The immigrant woman's euro is worth only around EUR 0.20, according to Ritva Viljanen, Chairman of the Ethnic Relations Forum, arranged annually by the Ministry of the Interior's Advisory Board for Ethnic Relations (ETNO).
According to Viljanen, female immigrants in Finland suffer from multiple levels of discrimination and marginalisation.
In addition to poor knowledge of the language, they are often ill-informed about Finnish society and are often unemployed.
