Finns are handling cash increasingly seldom. The amount of withdrawals from ATMs has decreased by a third in the last ten years, reveals Automatia Pankkiautomaatit Oy, which is in charge of Otto ATMs. There are approximately 1,600 Otto ATMs in Finland and 50 competing ATMs by Eurocash Finland. By the end of the decade there may be up to 20-30 per cent less ATMs, foresees Automatia’s Development Director Jyri Marviala.
