Councillors of the City of Helsinki are calling for clearer guidelines on municipal lobbying, with Heidi Hautala (Greens) proposing on Sunday that the new guidelines be devised by the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities. “The Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities could start drawing up guidelines on municipal lobbying and examine the issue from the viewpoints of both decision-makers and lobbyists,” Hautala suggested.
