Following the withdrawal of the Left Alliance from the coalition Government, the portfolios to be relinquished by its ministers, Paavo Arhinmäki and Merja Kyllönen, are to be taken over by ministers of the National Coalition (NCP) and the Social Democrats (SDP), several sources tell Helsingin Sanomat. The chairpersons of the ruling parties reportedly decided on the distribution of the duties in a teleconference on Monday.
