Paula Risikko, the Minister of Social Affairs and Health, has confirmed her intention to run for the position of the chairperson of the National Coalition Party (NCP). “Over the past weeks, I have received an astonishing number of requests to run for the position of the chairperson of the National Coalition. I have been contacted by people all over the country – by members of the National Coalition, supporters, as well as people who have yet to vote for the National Coalition,” Risikko explains in a statement.
