Finland clinched an unlikely 3-2 win over Canada at the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship on Thursday to set up a semi-final clash with the Czech Republic, who had a few hours earlier overcome the United States. Neither of the North American ice hockey behemoths will therefore battle it out for the medals in Minsk, Belarus.
