Helsinki Sanomat asked three waiters from Helsinki's fine dining restaurants about their opinions in regards to the behaviours of Finnish restaurant clientele. The answer was that Finns are schooled visitors to restaurants. However, on an anonymous basis, the waiters also related examples of happenings in which the customers did not live up to expectations.

The themes brought forward by the waiters were familiar both to Marja Hemmi, restaurant manager at Ravintolakoulu Perho, and to headwaiter Nina Koiranen, who has a long history in this line of work.
