Lactic acid bacteria found in the honey stomach of bees have been successful in beating super bugs in a series of tests carried out at Lund University in Sweden. The bees' bacterial cocktail was effective in battling even the antibiotic-resistant bacteria MRSA – at least in laboratory conditions.
