A Chinese journalist phrases his question politely: “Here in China, poppy is considered not only beautiful but also dangerous. Why did you decide to paint poppies on your airplane?” Spokespersons from Marimekko and Finnair have just talked about their co-operation to a group of over 30 Chinese journalists in the conference room of a hotel in Beijing. The journalists were told that Finnair will decorate one of its aircraft with the iconic Unikko print by Marimekko.
