A roughly 30-year-old man has been arrested for stabbing to death a male student at a Sami upper secondary school in Utsjoki, Lapland, on Friday. The police have confirmed that both the suspect and victim have lived in the dormitory of the school. The suspect, however, has been evicted from the dormitory for creating disturbance, reveals Jan Fordell, a detective inspector at the Lapland Police Department.

On Thursday, the suspect had to be removed from the local village house for inhaling intoxicants. The suspect will be taken to Rovaniemi later today for questioning and according to Fordell is likely to be charged with either murder or manslaughter.
