Tests performed on the male patient admitted to the Meilahti Triangle Hospital on Thursday evening with high fever indicate that he does not have Ebola. “Our test system is very accurate and reliable. The test was performed successfully, and the result was negative. Preliminary test results indicate that the patient has malaria,” senior virologist Maija Lappalainen said in a press conference on Friday evening.
