The value of Finnish exports fell from 56 billion euros in 2013 to 55.8 billion euros in 2014, indicate preliminary data published by the Finnish Customs. Export volumes are currently comparable to those recorded during the first few years of the previous period of growth. The value of Finnish exports stood at 52 billion euros in 2005 and at 61 billion euros in 2006.

Finnish exports dwindled last year
Last year, the exports of transport equipment and mobile technology increased particularly, whereas those from the most significant export industry in the country, the chemical industry, fell in the wake of a drop in the prices of oil products.
